What are Rewards Points?
TERA Rewards on PC is one of our ways of saying thankyou to our players. It provides players with a variety of exclusive benefits for playing through specific TERA content, and for making purchases in the TERA Store.
Once you get 3,000 TERA Rewards Points you'll unlock Tier 1 TERA Rewards perks. This gets you an XP bonus for all characters to your account, a box of reward credits delivered to your item claim, as well as access to the TERA Rewards Dungeon where you can earn Rewards Credits. Once you reach Rewards Tier 2 you can spend those credits in the Rewards Emporium.
To go up tier levels you need to collect Rewards Points. Each tier unlocks more in-game bonuses (like bonuses to enchantments) and makes more items available in the Rewards Emporium.
How to get TERA Rewards Points
You earn 1 Reward Point for every 1 EMP spent in the TERA Store. You don't earn Reward Points from purchasing EMP, only from spending it. EMP won through promotions and spent in the TERA store contributes to your Rewards Points.
Sometimes Reward Points are included in promotions or special events, and occasionally offered through level 65 higher-end group content.
How to get TERA Rewards Credits
Credits to spend in the Rewards Emporium can be earned through the Rewards Dungeon (which you can access once a day through the TERA Rewards screen) and you earn 1 Reward Credit for every 10 EMP spent in TERA. At higher level tiers you'll unlock a daily credit bonus, similar to a login bonus, that you access through the TERA Rewards window. EMP won through promotions and spent in the TERA store contributes to your Rewards Points.
Sometimes Reward Credits are included in promotions or special events, and occasionally offered through level 65 higher-end group content.
Elite Status Reward Credits and Points
Every month players with a paid Elite status subscription receive 1,500 Reward Points and 150 Reward Credits. Non-subscription Elite status time earned through Elite Status Vouchers or promotions don't qualify, although the EMP spent on these items will count toward points and credits.
TERA Rewards Window
You can access the TERA Rewards window by clicking the TERA Rewards icon. It's on the top left near any other status icons you might have (like Elite status).
The first time you open the screen it will show a help pop-up showing all the goodies you've unlocked.
Reward Credit delivery
Reward Points a credited directly onto your account. Reward Credits will need to be claimed through the item claim.
If a player earns Reward Points and Reward Credits from an EMP purchase, and that EMP is later refunded for any reason, the earned Reward Points and Reward Credits will be removed from that player's account. For the refund to proceed the Reward Credits need to be available.
If you want a refund of an accidental EMP purchase to be processed, both the EMP and the Reward Credits must be available to be removed. If a player does not have enough Reward Credits to process the refund, the EMP will not be refunded.
Trading and banking rewards
Some items can only be purchased in the TERA Rewards Emporium, such as Tier 8 accessories and Tier 10 mounts. These rewards can't be traded or put in the guild bank.
Non-exclusive items (like keys or Extensive Alkahest) can be traded.
Hovering over an item in the Emporium will display a tooltip window that lists its various restrictions, including whether the item is tradable or which banks it can be put into.
TERA Rewards dungeon
The Tera Rewards dungeon is a level 65 dungeon that can be played once a day through the Rewards Window. It only provides Rewards Credits and doesn't drop weapons, armor, glyphs etc. The TERA Rewards dungeon only awards Reward Credits. This dungeon is a reward for attaining Reward Tier 1 and has no impact on gear progression.
EMP won in promotions
EMP won through a promotion (such as an online contest) or received as a prize (e.g., from Kyra's Potion Shack) earn Reward Points and Reward Credits if they are spent in the TERA store. Promotional EMP is treated the same as purchased EMP for the sake of awarding Reward Points and Reward Credits.
TERA Rewards XP boost stacks with Elite Status XP boost
The enchanting success rate bonus from TERA Rewards works on regular and awakened enchantments.
