How do I change my guild logo?
Where do I save my guild logo?
How do I create a guild mark?
How do I find my TERA folder?
Why won't my guild emblem load?
If you're the leader of your guild you can add your own guild emblem and show off your team's unique flair. The guild emblem will display next to the name of your guildies in-game.
How to create a guild emblem
Select device specific instructions:
Creating your Guild Logo on PC
Your emblem, or logo, needs to be a 64x64(24-bit) .bmp.
Save the image to your GuildLogoUploader folder (..\TERA\Client\S1Game\GuildLogoUpload). You can save multiple images here if you want to change images seasonally.
Talk to Leonad to add your emblem
Leonad in Velika's Consul's Office is in charge of all emblems. Go visit him, and if you're the leader of your guild you can change the emblem of your guild for free.
If you'd like to see how your guild emblem displays to the rest of the world go to Settings > Options > Game and from Show names tick on me.
Where to find your TERA Folder
By default TERA saves to C:\Program Files\TERA if you are running a 64 bit version of Windows or C:\Program Files (x86)\TERA\ for 32 bit version of Windows.
If you've installed TERA using Steam the default path will be Steam>steamapps>common>TERA>Client>S1Game>GuildLogoUpload
Bitmap image issues
If instead of a preview of your image you get an icon with a test pattern behind it that says img: your image is probably too big or has the wrong image depth.
Image depth (like 8-bit, 24-bit or 32-bit) refers to how colors can be used to create an image, not the file size. Guild emblems need to be in a 24-bit format. If your bmp has saved as a 32-bit file you'll get the img: icon instead of a preview of your emblem. Images can be resaved to the correct image depth through a range of tools, including Microsoft Paint (file > save as > bmp)
