I think there's something wrong with DirectX.
Are there ways I can troubleshoot video, soundcard or display issues?
How do I get a dxdiag report?
Perhaps a support agent asked you for more information, or you might be the sort of super-user that likes to do your own troubleshooting. DirectX issues can come from several causes, so using Windows’ built-in DirectX Diagnostic Tool can be a helpful way to get more information.
How to create a DxDiag report
- In Windows, select Start, then type dxdiag and run the command.
- The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will ask for permission to run a check.
- Once it's finished, select Save All Information. You can save it as the default txt file.
