I think there's something wrong with DirectX.
Are there ways I can troubleshoot video, soundcard or display issues?
How do I get a dxdiag report?
A support agent might have asked for extra information, or you might be the sort of super user that wants to do some troubleshooting. DirectX issues can come from a number of places, so using Window's built in DirectX Diagnostic tool can be a helpful way to get more information.
How to create a DxDiag report
- In Windows select Start type dxdiag and run the command.
- The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will ask for permission to run a check.
- Once it's finished, select Save All Information. Saving it as the default txt file is fine.
