Launcher won't start.
Can't get into game.
If you're having difficulties opening our launcher or getting into our games, it could be because there are connection issues (such as firewall settings, difficulties with your router or network card). If the launcher can't contact our servers it may cause the launcher to shut down. Troubleshooting: Connectivity Issues and Advanced PC Troubleshooting: Connectivity Issues provide other ways of troubleshooting potential connection issues.
We've found that running the following reset command lines can often resolve the issue, although it won't diagnose what the exact issue is (such as firewall settings or a network card that's having difficulties).
As part of their operation, these commands will reset your network stack, which will drop any active connections you have open.
Open your Command Prompt in admin mode.
- Type cmd in your start bar.
- Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
- Enter the following commands into your Command Prompt:
- netsh int ip reset reset.txt
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh advfirewall reset
- Restart your launcher.
